Foster Edwards, Executive Director

Our Executive Director of the San Patricio County Economic Development Corporation. He has great experience in non-profit management, having served as President/ CEO of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and the CEO of the Corpus Christi Association of Realtors. He also served as President of Stewart Title. He has been active in the business and civic affairs of the Coastal Bend for many years. He was a founding Director of Ronald McDonald House. President of the Corpus Christi Industrial Foundation and Secretary of the Corpus Christi Industrial Foundation and Chairman of the Board of Asbury United Methodist Church. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Corpus Christi Convention and Visitors Bureau. He is currently a Director of the Community Development Corporation. Foster is a graduate of Texas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s of Arts in Political Science. He and his wife Carole, have three children and nine grandchildren.

 

Becky Gallagher, Director of Administration 
Becky Gallagher handles the EDC's day to day operations including purchasing, accounts payable, payroll, grant administration. Other responsibilities include management of SPCEDC budget in coordination with the Executive Director, and oversees partner relations and member services.

Mark Zans, GIS Analyst
Mark Zans coordinates mapping and GIS activities, creates and distributes maps, aerials, and other geographic products and updates and maintains the geographic database for the EDC. He also provides technical assistance and guidance for the office.

Adrianna Escamilla, Administrative Assistant and Head of Marketing
Adrianna is a senior at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi studying for her bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, and Emergency Response with a minor in marketing. She began working with the SPCEDC as an intern and progressed to be our first point of contact for the SPCEDC as the administrative assistant and head of marketing. She handles our social media marketing which includes our weekly newsletter, constant updates to our website, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts. She creates the writing for internal communications, meeting minutes, reports and press releases, and manages project coordination for special events as well. When she is not in the office or at school, she works on-call for events at the Texas State Aquarium and as a promotional representative for The Crush Girls of Corpus Christi.
