The San Patricio County Economic Development Corporation (SPCEDC) is pleased and excited to announce another one of our partners has taken advantage of EDC Business to Business Mixers, one of many services and values we offer our members.
Beginning last year, the SPCEDC began an exclusive Business to Business Mixer program that is a truly professional and worthwhile endeavor. As a partner of the SPCEDC, it is of utmost importance that we connect you with the people who can contribute to the growth and prosperity of your company.
The SPCEDC coordinated a mixer for SimplexGrinnell, one of the nation's premier life safety and fire suppression providers. They had a specific group of companies they sought to mingle with. The EDC evaluated their invitation list, compared it with our member list, and then suggested other EDC members and acquaintances of EDC members we felt would maximize their Return on Investment.
Here's what Wade Raymond of SimplexGrinnell had to say following their mixer, which was held on Thursday, June 19:
"I want to thank the San Patricio County EDC for a very well organized and professional event. The whole staff was knowledgeable, social and attentive," Raymond said. "The room had a great view and was arranged to maximize the space. The food was perfect for this type of event and we were very happy with the results and outcome of the mixer. We were able to reach those we wanted to reach and generate substantial business leads. Hopefully we can continue to grow our business relationship and help each other to prosper and grow. Great things are happening in San Patricio County."
Mixers are highly effective networking opportunities for your business, intended to get you in front of exactly who you want to be in front of.
"Together we will access dozens of the decision makers that will help your business prosper and expand business relations within the county," Spencer said. "We want to continue on the success of the previous mixers by scheduling more of them. We strongly encourage our members to take advantage of this valuable networking tool."
How do you get started in planning a San Patricio County EDC B2B Mixer?
Step 1: Decide who you want there.
Which decision makers will it be? People you know? People we know? People our partners know? We work with you and a number of contact lists to pull together a specialized guest list.
Step 2: Pick the place.
We help you decide where you want to entertain depending on the purpose and audience you'd like. The event can be a small dinner reception, a fishing trip, happy hour at the Yacht Club, a suite at a ball game, dinner on a boat, a restaurant...or anywhere else you can think of in the Corpus Christi region.
Step 3: We get them there.
We take care of event logistics including planning, invitations and attendance. If you want a presentation, we will make sure you have projectors, screens, etc. Or if you just want to mix and mingle, we will make sure the entertainment and food you need is handled.
Step 4: You get the right message to the right people.
You have the floor at the event to give a speech, presentation or welcome. You have whatever time you would like to reach your guests.
The Bottom Line…
The only request we have is that you allow us to thank you for partnering with us to bring the business community together. In partnership we create an ROI for the business community, help your business grow, help our membership grow, and together achieve economic prosperity in the Coastal Bend.
When you join the San Patricio EDC at the $2,500 membership level, the cost of the event is included in your membership contribution. To date we have been able to hold events within this price range. If you want an event that costs more than $2,500 you simply need to pay the difference. We receive no monetary profit from the events.
Please contact Special Events Coordinator Nina Naranjo at the San Patricio County Economic Development Corporation to schedule your company's Business to Business Mixer today. We request 60 days' notice from the date you would like to hold your mixer, to give us adequate time to plan and schedule the event. Nina may be reached at (361) 777-2368 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
